Lots of learning still happening which makes me very happy - and those lawns still need to be cut too! It's a fantastic opportunity to get interested in gardening and learn about nature. Some of you are enjoying project work, and it's great to select a topic you have an interest in to research and learn more. I like how he laid out his project - clear title, short pieces of writing to read and lots of pictures and colour to grab attention! Well done!
This boy has been really experiencing nature and learning lots. He has decided to try and make a sundial, but requires a bit more research before the finishing touches can be made. He has been also busy helping his dad build a birdbox and has been lucky enough to have had a visitor or two already! He was also extremely lucky to come upon a herd of red deer, Ireland's largest native land mammal on his way to his grandad! Amazing! Of course he's still busy with his schoolwork too and completed a project on Ethopia - as part of our schoolwork from last week! Well done!
All of that hard work means only one thing - hungry! And what better way to cure that hunger than a delicious pizza! If you are baking or cooking boys, make sure it's under the supervision of an adult! Eating pizza with burnt fingers is NOT fun! Aaaaand to keep that healthy balance, phsyical activity each day is important. If you're out on your bikes, remember all of the tips you learned during the Road Safety workshops - and wear your helmets!
Busy working - this boy isn't going to let anything stop him learn lots at home and work hard!
You're so lucky to have a wonderful coastal area to explore (within your 5km!) but all those walks and adventures can make you hungry. I have to admit - those brownies look A M A Z I N G - I wonder if I can get the recipe off you?!
I love seeing all of the happy faces - be it in the garden, doing Maths or at the beach! It really is true what they say - smiles are definitely contagious! And after a tough morning with the head in the books, what better way to relax than a game of darts? I wonder was there an one hunnnndredddd and eeeeeiiiigggghttttyyyyy scored? Or is it more like me with some holes at the side of the board? :D
