It is great to see some of the wonderful learning activities and experiences you have been doing! Gardening is an extremely popular one and a great hobby to have for your lifetime. Previously I wasn't even very good at looking after plants but even I have managed to improve on this the last couple of weeks! It looks like I'm not the only one - someone has been busy planting potatoes and some rhubarb! He also wrote a letter to Leo - I wonder what he wrote? Not only that, he prepared an interesting project about spring!
I was really thrilled to see boys still working at their maths too by measuring out ingredients for baking! Baking offers lots of opportunities for different skills and concepts - weighing ingredients, following a recipe or procedure step - by - step and of course, practising good hygiene habits. It can be fun eating the yummy things we have baked too, so it's vital to keep up some physical exercise at this time for balance! I know lots of you will be missing your sports teams and training, but there are ways to keep fit even at home in your garden or even in your sitting room! This is also a perfect time to get lost in a great book - before you know it an hour or even two might have passed! What books have you enjoyed reading? Is there something you could recommend to your classmates? Books are a great way to escape to another world - even more useful now we cannot stray too far from our homes! Don't forget audible is free to sign up to at the moment if you prefer to listen to some great stories!
